Social Media Manager
Tradeblock is the #1 Sneaker Trading Platform and Community. We are looking for a social media manager that understands sneaker culture and trends who can help us create engaging content for our Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
Our social strategy is all about harnessing the current, relevant news and trends in the sneaker community and blending them with sneaker history to create conversation between members new and old.
We’re looking for someone who’s excited by the constant changing landscape of social media and the potential to create viral content while also being excited to engage with our community to hype them up about their trades or answer some of their customer questions.
This person will also help us comb through all user generated content to find the gems, identify key promoters, and to be another creative collaborator to help us dream up original ways to share content across our social platforms.
Responsibilities

Content research, curation, and creation

Creative brainstorming with the design, marketing, and comms team

Be bold - observe the current social media landscape and propose creative leaps we can take to bring our social media to the next level

Monitor the Tradeblock Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok for post-worthy user generated content

Respond to DM’s across platforms

Like, comment, and repost posts and stories that align to our brand

Remove inappropriate or irrelevant content
Qualifications

Understanding of the sneaker community, culture, and trends

Experience managing social media accounts and channels for another brand

A professional and customer service oriented personality with a sense of humor who can connect with our members

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Nice to have

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or similar major

Basic understanding of design software (Adobe Photoshop and Figma or Sketch)

Passion for sneakers or a sneakerhead
